Free Help for Small Businesses
Free help? Sure, I know what you’re thinking.
What’s the catch? Really, there isn’t one. My
name is Dan O’Connell and I am a business
Advisor for the NYS Small Business
Development Center.
The SBDC is funded by the US Small Business
Administration, SUNY, CUNY and New
York State. We provide one on one counseling,
training, research help and advocacy for small
and mid-sized businesses. All of our services
are free and confidential.
We are located at Stony Brook University’s
Southampton campus but I cover the East end,
both Forks. If you can’t come to me I will come
to you. If you need help in managing, starting,
marketing, or expanding your business, or
just need some advice on how to survive these
tough times call me.
I can be reached at 631-632-5067 or
by e-mail at daniel.oconnell@sunysb.edu.
I hope to hear from you.
